Our polyimide rods(similar with Vespel) are good for insulation(heat/electrical) in hot runner applications. Technical features:
- Tensile Strength: 110 MPa at 23ºC
- Elongation: 10% at 23ºC
- Flexural Strength: 120 MPa at 23ºC
- Compressive Strength: 150 MPa at 23ºC
- Impact Strength: 120 KJ/m2 at 23ºC
- Friction Coefficient(0.98Mpa·m/sec): 0.32
- Coefficient of Linear Thermal Expansion: 55 ppm/ºC (23ºC)
- Thermal conductivity: 0.36 W/m·ºC at 25ºC
- Dielectric Constant: 3.75 23ºC,@10(6) Hz
- Dielectric Strength: 21.9 kV/mm
- Volume Resistivity: 10(16) - 10(18) Ω·cm at 23ºC
- Sizes: diameter Φ8 - Φ30. Available lengths are 320,500,1020mm.
